The Daffodils are Dying

The daffodils are dying.

One by one,
Petal by petal,
Day by day,
they're dying.

Death is a common occurrence in life,
But it makes me sad to think,
"Oh look, there goes another daffodil."

Are daffodils supposed to come out now?
Here in New Jersey, it's the end of March,
And they're dying.

I look out of the school window,
and think about them.

One by one,
Petal by petal,
Day by day,
they're dying.

The daffodils are dying.

Downtrodden Maple picked up her pencil.
It was her special pencil, with it's pink body and fine, sharp point. Her mother gave it to her before she left. Yeah, mama left...and daddy...and...
"Hello, Mapie, ready for today?" Her older brother(more like half brother, he made mother leave) called. Mapie nodded. "Excellent."
Brother came down, and Maple got her notepad.
"We need some groceries, uh...what else...oh yeah, the laundry needs to be done and get new utensils." He demanded, Maple writing all this down.
That's when Maple realized she promised Harriet she'd play.
Looks like brother wins again.

New Life "New Life"

She was going to be my best friend.
A new life created by god himself.
Ok, maybe not god.
But still.
Mom said this is all a part of god's "big plan". Bullshit, I say. Why would god let a baby girl die after only two years of life?
I even picked out her name. Well, nickname anyways. It was Golden-Rod. Because she had such beautiful blond curls.
She was born on May 1, or May Day. She was a healthy baby-doctors never saw it coming. She came home two days later, when I was 10. I was so excited! I kept shouting "New life! New life!" to everyone, even random strangers.
Then, when she was one, she became sick. I wNew Life by ~AllTheCrazyOnes

I'm attending a con this summer, and I want to cosplay as Pinkie Pie. Any ideas?((I dont want to spend more then $30 dollars on each item that I need...so the wig needs to be, at the most, $30)).
